Synopsis
Sister Kathleen (Marsha Dietlein Bennett) sees divine purpose in Jake Bauer (Daniel Roebuck), a broken man needing redemption. She offers him a job at an all-boys school, then cons the grudging man into creating a football team. Evolving into a father figure, Bauer faces past failures while reigniting his faith in this feel-good, funny story in the vein of The Bells of Saint Mary and other classic faith-based sports films.
For as long as I can remember this has been one of my favorite theaters. I have wonderful memories of being there when I was growing up, but my most favorite ones are being there with my own children through the years. So much nostalgia on top of great prices for movies🎫 and snacks🍿. It's a win-win!😊
